We have a 1 bedroom available 12/1 in a 4 bedroom 1.5 bath house on a quiet street in JP. Rent is $1,045 per month plus utilities, which typically range between $70-$150 per month depending on the season. The apartment is on the second and third floors of a two-family house and the available bedroom is on the third floor. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen which has a new fridge, stove, and dishwasher, and a large balcony. Coin op laundry is available in the basement and there is a small backyard. Street parking is available, and you do not need a resident sticker. About the roommates! You will be living with three women in their late twenties-early thirties. Lindsay is a teacher and spends time reading, cooking, knitting, and hiking. Ashley works for a nonprofit and enjoys reading, seeing friends and family, playing video games, and is looking for new hobbies. Elly is a graduate student studying library science. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, reading, arts and crafts, and attending local events. About the neighborhood! We are a 5 minute walk to several bus lines on Centre Street, a 10 minute walk to the Stony Brook orange line stop and the Southwest Corridor path, and a 10-15 minute walk to Jamaica Pond. Whole Foods, CVS, City Feed, and lots of local restaurants and bars are all in walking distance. We are hoping to find a working professional or graduate student in their late twenties- early thirties who is responsible, clean, and communicative. The house is typically quiet and everyone is on their own schedules but we do like to chat after work or sit out on the balcony on a nice day.
