Role Overview: We’re seeking a skilled Wholesale Production Pastry Chef to oversee daily pastry production and ensure all products meet our standards for quality, consistency, and timeliness. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and brings both creativity and discipline to large-scale production. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily production of pastries, doughs, fillings, and baked goods for wholesale distribution. Ensure product quality and consistency across multiple batches and accounts. Oversee kitchen staff and delegate tasks to maintain workflow and efficiency. Coordinate with management and delivery teams to meet order deadlines. Monitor inventory, place ingredient orders, and minimize waste. Maintain sanitation and food safety standards at all times. Assist in developing and testing new recipes suitable for scaling. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years professional pastry experience; wholesale or commissary production experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work early mornings and maintain a consistent schedule. Knowledge of production scaling, food safety, and ingredient management. Experience with vegan or plant-based pastry techniques is a plus.
