Learn more about the inclusive team atmosphere that we curate: https://youtu.be/oRLIyr-qcGo We Will Provide: -Hands-on involvement with the leadership team and front/back-of-house operations as it pertains to dish/prep cook -A warm, inclusive working environment and organizational culture -Opportunities to make connections with individuals and businesses in the hospitality and restaurant industry throughout Providence and Rhode Island Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: -Daily organizational tasks, prepping for service -Trash removal -Operating our pot sink and dish machine on a daily basis and keeping the dishpit clean/tidy -Organization of dry storage and dining room -Sweeping and mopping the kitchen -Basic kitchenware washing duties -Basic prep Metrics of Success The following criteria can measure success in this role: -Positive and productive attitude and professional demeanor. -Positive and professional communication with teammates and guests alike. Compensation Position Type: Part Time Within Thurs.-Sat. (5-9pm), Sundays (9-5pm) Shift Outlook: Mondays-Wednesdays off. We need availability for such candidate to work throughout the week on a consistent and reliable basis. We are looking for a year commitment plus from any candidate. This is an entry-level position, but we are looking for some basic fundamentals and most importantly, a good attitude and someone who wants to learn and grow within the venture! Performance Schedule: 90-day informal check-in, 9-12 month formal review Benefits: 401K after 90 days Paid Sick Time after 90 days Wellness Program Discounted Dining Professional Development Continued Education Paid Meal Breaks $16/hr. - dependent on experience *Compensation is determined by experience and performance. Additional compensatory packages and options are at the discretion of the Proprietor and are determined every year.
