Dishwasher/Porter (Greenpoint)

Bakery in Greenpoint, Brooklyn is looking for full-time Dishwasher/Porter. Responsibilities include: -Wash dishes, baking trays, utensils, and equipment efficiently and safely -Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by emptying trash, sweeping and mopping floors, throughout shift -Empty trash cans from all kitchen and service areas throughout the shift -Restock ingredients, paper goods, and cleaning supplies -Follow food safety and hygiene standards -Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and lift at least 50 pounds, and perform tasks that require standing, reaching, and bending Schedule: Weekdays Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm. Ideal candidate: Arrive on time, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced setting Ability to communicate effectively and willingness to work as part of a team Must have previous experience in a bakery or kitchen We offer: Competitive wages ( $20+/hr. depending on experience) Paid lunch w/ family meal Breads/treats to take home weekly Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
