Assistant Pastry Chef (larkspur)

Job description: We are currently seeking a professional, self-starting, energetic, reliable, & friendly pastry person in our main production bakery. Pastry Production/would prefer full time but will consider part time for the right person. Primary tasks, cake/dessert pastry production, will train in our specific product line Ideal candidate has some previous cake/dessert pastry production experience Shifts may include weekends & all holidays (Closed Thanksgiving & Christmas) Must be reliable, responsible & manage high-volume during peak holiday seasons that will require OT MUST be able to lift, carry, move 20-40 pounds Proof of Eligibility of Employment (as on I-9) & CA Food Handler Card (required) Compensation: DOE/Comparable to industry Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Experience: Pastry: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Larkspur, CA 94939 (Required)
