Sibylline Press publishes the brilliant work of women authors over age 50 in the categories of fiction, memoir, and writing craft. We publish 60 titles a year in print and ebook formats with content licensing in other formats. We are looking for an exceptional organizer and multi-task project manager to assist the publisher in our San Diego office. Publishing or bookselling background is welcome. High skill level in Excel, Google Workspace, and Asana (or equivalent task manager) are needed. Familiarity with navigating book industry’s Edelweiss, NetGalley and CoreSource programs would be great, but if you are fast learner and technology adept, you can learn on the job. Strong writing skills are necessary. Will also be liaison to authors for publisher and so good people skills are mandatory. Includes some event and trade show coordination. Will help manage book orders and shipments. Will maintain metadata and collateral on all titles. Will maintain publishing systems for the press. Must be a team player. While most of our team works remotely, this position is an in-office position working directly with the publisher.
