Proficiency at reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints. Good math skills. Ability to work within and meet deadlines. Ability to work well with others in teamwork capacity. Accuracy and attention to details are two important considerations for our positions. Heavy, industrial metal fabrication shop in Mid City New Orleans seeking hydraulic press brake operator helper to help with steel plate forming. Press helper is responsible for assisting the operator in handling and indexing large steel plates through the machine while it is being pressed. This is a physically demanding job. Helper will work with the operator as the big press team.
