About the Position Fabrication, repair, and perform diagnostics for manufacturing equipment and processes Install and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment that are reliable and consistent Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic (oil/air logic) controlled equipment Operate cutting torch, welders, hand tools, forklift and welding truck Weld various materials using MIG, TIG, and stick Recognize, report, and repair mechanical defects Identify and communicate opportunities and take measures to reduce waste Ensure product and process quality through self-inspection of finished products Effectively manage time and materials for each project Focus on current work while planning the next stages of work Perform general maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a clean work area Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times Qualifications 1-year recent verifiable related work history or educational equivalent Must have current welding certification Proficient in welding, cutting, and using hand tools for repairs Knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, and gear boxes Industrial/commercial mechanical maintenance experience is a plus Why Join Our Team? Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk Reporting To: Production Manager FLSA Status: Full-time (Hourly): Monday-Friday, 40 Hrs. Pay rate = $20.00 A shipping/receiving clerk typically works in a warehouse environment and is responsible for tracking inventory levels, handling all aspects of shipping and receiving, and keeping accurate records. On the shipping side, they package items, print labels, weigh packages and determine appropriate postage. As receiving clerks, they are responsible for comparing bills of lading against actual merchandise received, inspecting for damaged goods and once approved, distributing merchandise to the correct departments. Shipping/Receiving Clerk's Duties and Responsibilities: • Determines method of shipment and prepares bills, invoices and other shipping documents • Receives merchandise - checks and signs delivery slips, and assists with unloading as necessary • Inspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods • Accepts or returns merchandise according to established company procedures. • Organizes distribution and shipping of merchandise. Makes necessary verifications against documents, unpacks and routes goods to appropriate storage areas. • May operate a forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods • Maintains internal record-keeping systems • Assembles containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions • Knows safe storage and handling procedures for various chemicals and materials • Knows proper shipping procedures for transportation of dangerous goods • Takes inventory, maintains storage area, organizes and places stock on shelves. • Other duties assigned by management as needed Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: • At least High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • At least 1- year experience in logistics, retail, or customer service experience • Forklift Certified is a plus • Having work experience with computers While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: •Walk, kneel, squat, bend, and stand. •Reach, twist, lift and carry up to 50 pounds. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with less than 3 years experience as a maintenance technician and looking for an opportunity to improve their skills to a the level of Maintenance Technician III in the future!
