Suffering from Back Pain? Chronic low back pain is defined as pain in the lower back that persists for 12 weeks or more, often continuing even after the initial injury or cause has healed. It may originate from muscle or ligament strain, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, or nerve irritation, but in many cases, the exact cause remains unclear (non-specific). Risk factors include poor posture, repetitive lifting, obesity, age-related changes, and a sedentary lifestyle. This condition can lead to reduced mobility, sleep disturbances, and emotional stress, significantly impacting an individual's daily functioning and overall quality of life. Effective management often involves a combination of physical therapy, medication, lifestyle modifications, and sometimes interventional procedures. We are seeking volunteers for a clinical study evaluating the safety and effectiveness of a treatment for Chronic low back pain. This study is finding out how a person’s genes and their behaviors influence the effect of night work on physiological (how the body works) changes that may link to the higher risks for diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases in night-shift workers.
