Boutique Neighborhood Wine Shop seeking a professional and reliable Stock and Delivery person—hourly Part-time up to 28/30 hrs a week. Weekend and holiday shifts are required. $18/hr to start. People with retail and some hospitality/ restaurant/ beverage experience Preferred. Someone Local to zip 11211 preferred--Or at least an Easy commute to the area. Willing to train the right person, but having some experience with wine and spirits (what’s your favorite Red and White wine or Bourbon? etc…) is needed. Could be great for a creative/freelancer type looking for a steady part-time job. The person hired will be expected to become familiar with all products in the store, and provide wine pairing and cocktail suggestions for customers. Key Requirements: Professional, Reliable & Punctual Proactive, Trustworthy, Patient & Friendly Able to lift 35 - 50 lbs boxes Must be able to Ride a bike for local deliveries Great customer service skills, not rattled easily Able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays—Please detail availability in your application Attention to Detail Clean & organized Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently. Natural curiosity and love of good wine, spirits, sakes, and a desire to share that love with customers and coworkers Duties include but are not limited to: Receiving inventory, stocking shelves, cleaning, making local deliveries, answering phones We’re a small hands-on team, so the ability to work closely with others — and communicate effectively — is very important.
