DESCRIPTION: Provide residential fill-in and back up services for Group Home Shift Leaders and IDD staff while assuring residents’ health and safety and providing a home atmosphere. Administer medications and support residents in their home with personal care, meals, and daily living skills. Provide positive community integration experiences and related educational activities for day service participants. Implement participants’ goals according to their individual plans. Keep accurate records and documentation of daily activities and progress for each participant/resident as required by applicable standards. QUALIFICATIONS: High school education and two years of experience in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to effectively work with adults with developmental disabilities. Background check, MVR check with acceptable driving record, and reliable vehicle required. DETAILS: Full Time, 40 hours per week. 5 days per week at 8 hours per day unless providing fill-in or back up for group home staff. Days and times can vary based on fill-in needs. Flexibility and ability to stay overnight required.
