My name is Matthew and you can feel free to email me and let me know who you are and if you would like to come look at the room and house. Please answer these questions: 1. What is your typical work schedule like? 2. Do you make a lot of noise past quiet hours ? (Past 10PM at night, do you make a lot of noise?) FAQ’S (Frequently Asked Questions) : Can I put an air conditioner in the room? Yes. However you will need to pay for the amount of electricity from the use of your air conditioner . Because using the air conditioner is expensive. How many bedrooms and how many baths are in this house? 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Because your bedroom has its own Bathroom, you are the only person who will use it. The other 2 residents have a remodeled bathroom which they share. Is there dual occupancy allowed ? No, we do not allow dual occupancy for a bedroom. Are there cooking schedules for the residents ? No, anyone is allowed to use the kitchen to cook anytime they want, with the cutoff time being 10pm for quiet hours. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am, per the city of San Jose noise ordinance. This rule must be observed for the harmony and sleep of the other residents. In addition, immediately cleaning up after yourself is mandatory. Can I have a guest over ? Yes , guests are allowed over. Please understand, that there needs to be an observation of the harmony and spaces of the other residents as well. The policy is : Please practice a balance while living here with regards to guests. Because these rooms are single occupancy and we are a private, quiet and secure property. Is there an expectation for price increases? No, I do not believe in raising the rent/utility. Even though the properties bills are constantly rising, I take on the burden of the rising bills without passing them off to the residents. However , if you waste electricity or water , or use an excessive amount of either , I reserve the right to raise the monthly utility fee for a particular resident, accordingly. Can I speak to the current resident(s) prior to submitting an application? If the resident(s) happen to be there during your tour , you are free to speak and say hello. However if you don’t get to see them during the tour, my policy is : I do not set up FaceTimes or group messaging / phone calls for a prospect who has not applied. If you decide to apply, submit a completed application and pay the fee, if you are approved and become an approved applicant, I can set up something of your choice with the current resident(s) , depending on their schedules. This is not offered to prospects who have not applied and please do not ask because I will not respond to your request. If I did this for every prospect who was interested in this room, this would not be feasible or fair to the current residents schedule and privacy. Please be reasonable in your requests. How is the street parking ? There is plenty of street parking because this is a permitted neighborhood. Parking permit is paid for by the owner. Thank you. *Next to freeway access *1.4 miles from SAP Entertainment Center *A few doors down from San Jose McEnery Convention Center *Is within walking distance of 5 additional hotels, multiple visual and performing arts facilities and an abundance of restaurants.
