This part-time role focuses exclusively on the dismissal shift (1:30 PM â 4:30 PM, weekdays) and plays a critical role in student safety, accountability, and route coordination. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise students during school dismissal and while on the bus. * Check each studentâs school-issued ID before boarding. * Take electronic attendance daily to ensure all assigned students are accounted for. * Assist students with boarding, seating, and exiting the bus safely. * Ensure seat belts or harnesses are used properly (if required). * Promote respectful behavior and enforce safety rules during the ride. * Communicate clearly with the driver, school staff, and parents when necessary. * Respond to emergencies calmly (training provided). * Keep the bus environment clean and orderly.
