ShareHiring a Parcel Delivery Driver - Provide your own vehicle (van preferred) Qualifications: Valid US driver’s license. Must delivery packages to customers timely and in professional matter. Complete daily assigned route. Use personal cell phone for routing information and customer delivery information. Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area(s). Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather and lighting conditions, include load and unload packages to be delivered. Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation: Lift packages up to 50 lbs. Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift. Follow all company, applicable traffic laws and other regulatory requirements. Complete a background check. Overview: We are seeking reliable delivery drivers to join our team. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from the warehouse to customers in a safe and timely manner. Our drivers are home daily routes are local to the Sacramento area Most packages are typically 30 lbs. (clothing to household items). Duties: Load and unload cargo following specific handling procedures - Operate delivery vehicles such as vans or personal vehicle. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures and photographs of delivered packages. Minimum Requirements: Working cell phone with cellular service and free of damage. (no broken screens or broken cameras.) Car or van with valid insurance, registration, and no mechanical issues. Understanding of routing apps such as Google maps, Waze, Apple Maps, etc. Must be able to read and write in English Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Work Location: In person Expectations: Drivers will arrive at the designated time to scan and load their vehicle. Vehicle must be clean and ready to work. ( No additional personal items: trash, car seats, misc. clothing, extra tools). Routes are created prior to entering the building. Packages will be grouped together in designated zones and drivers are to scan each item assigned to them. Deliveries are to be placed near the front or back door. Take-Home Pay: Starting pay is $500 per week with a minimum parcel delivery count.
