Hi, my name is Russell, and Iâve spent over 15 years professionally repairing, selling bicycles and managing bicycle shops in the SF Bay Area. Iâm now offering expert bicycle repair and tune-up services from my fully equipped home garage in San Jose â the same space where I also run a reliable auto repair side business. Whether you ride a road bike, mountain bike, commuter, gravel, or e-bike, I can get you back on the road or trail quickly and for a fraction of what you would spend at a brick and mortar bicycle shop. Why are my prices so much less expensive, yet my work is as good if not better than a brick-and-mortar shop? 1. I essentially have no overhead costs, and I am the only employee. 2. I am retired and have no distractions keeping me from making sure whatever bike you own, rolls out of my workshop as perfectly repaired as humanly possible. 3. I have 15+ years of experience in the bicycle industry. 4. In 2010, I started at a bicycle shop at minimum wage as a part-time mechanic, and worked my way up through several, progressively more reputable businesses, until I became the shops' general manager, closing multi-million dollar dealers with tech companies. (Hence my retirement). --- đ§ Services Offered: ⢠Full Tune-Up â drivetrain cleaning, brake/derailleur adjustment, tire check, bolt torque, etc. ⢠Brake Service â hydraulic & mechanical ⢠Drivetrain Repair â chain, cassette, derailleur, shifter issues ⢠Wheel Truing & Spoke Replacement ⢠Flat Tire Fixes (tubes, tubeless setup, sealant top-offs) ⢠Bottom Bracket & Headset Service ⢠Bike Builds & Custom Assembly ⢠Suspension Service â fork/shock basic service (select brands) ⢠E-Bike Repairs â on most major brands (please inquire) To make a long story short, there is very little I cannot repair, and you will have my word the man that accepts your bike in for repair will do the work, shake your hand, and guarantee his work. --- đ˛ Pricing: Most jobs are flat-rate or up-front quotes. Fair and transparent â no surprises. Labor typically ranges from $20â$300. I know this is a big range; however, my quote will be based on book time for a given repair. Obviously a flat tire takes nearly no time at all for someone with as many years experience as myself, but a complete overhaul takes a few hours to completed right (greasing, torquing, and using the bicycle or component brand professional repair manuals, off which I have most). --- đ Location: Home garage near downtown San Jose. I work by appointment only to ensure personalized attention and quick turnaround. đ Mobile Option Available! For an extra fee, I can come to you if you're local. --- â Why Choose Me? ⢠15+ years in the bicycle industry â sales & technical ⢠Precision, care, and integrity ⢠No upselling, no pressure â just honest repairs ⢠24 hours turnaround
