Adopt a Sweet French Bulldog (san jose downtown)

Meet Ed! Ed is a sweet and loving French Bulldog who is looking for a forever home where he can be the only pet and without young children. He was rescued from the San Jose Animal Shelter and was quite traumatized at first. However, after a month of care and love, he has calmed down significantly. Unfortunately, he can't co-exist peacefully with our dog, and we believe it's best for both dogs to find Ed a new home where he can thrive. Ed is the perfect house companion, with the softest fur. He's sweet, affectionate, and absolutely LOVES car rides. He doesn't jump on furniture unless invited and is fully housetrained. Ed has a routine of running outside after meals and always goes in the same spot in the yard. He's super easy to take on walks and doesn't tug at all. One of the most unique things about Ed, especially for a French Bulldog, is that he doesn't snort or snore – he sleeps very quietly. Ed does not like other dogs. Ed is nervous around strangers and tends to bark, but he can be easily distracted. He sleeps in his crate with the door open. He is not crazy about the door being shut. His new person will need to be very patient with him, but the reward will be lots of love and affection. A meet-and-greet is required, and a small rehoming fee of $200 will apply (which will be donated to the shelter)..Ed comes with his crate, toys, and is fully up to date on all vaccines, including Lepto and Influenza.
