ShareSummary On Premise Products is looking to hire seeking experienced FABRICATORS/WELDERS using Aluminum, Stainless Steel And Steel materials. The applicant needs to be self-motivated, able to multi-task, work independently on assignments with minimal oversight or direction, be able to work to verbal and written instructions and be quality-oriented. A clean, insurable, driving record and ability to pass a background and drug screening is also required and non-negotiable. Experience with assembly is required. Two to four years' experience, either in a production or job shop environment, as a welder. 1. Must be able to pass Weld Certification Test 2. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints 3. Working knowledge of weld symbols 4. Ability to fit, tack and weld sub- plate assemblies, structures, stainless steel sheet, plate, bar, etc. in accordance with welding codes and specifications 5. Understand various edge preps before welding. 6. Good understanding of set up techniques. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: 1. Responsible for set-up, lay-out, tack-up and welding of various precision weldments. 2. Work well with our team. 3. Weld to precision. 4. Hold final required cosmetic finish with angle grinders and sanders. 5. Read complicated prints and "spec. weld symbols". 6. Follow work instructions, methods sheets and all other requirements. 7. Knowledge of general shop practices and shop safety 8. Lays out parts dimensions on worktable for use as a fit up table. 9. Positions parts in jig and files and grinds parts, as indicated, to fit them together. 10. Compares dimensions of assembly to blueprint specifications 11. Must be willing to learn Sheetmetal Fabrication Mechanics. 12. When not welding, must assist in other aspects of fabrication. 13. Other duties may be assigned.
