ShareCNC Operator - HORIZONTAL MILLS - DAY SHIFT (Morgan Hill) Kalman Manufacturing of Morgan Hill, California is a Silicon Valley leader in high-precision manufacturing with a diverse customer base, ranging from medical to global positioning systems. We have openings for qualified people in the industry to join our team. Currently, we have positions for CNC operators on DAY SHIFT with at least 5 years’ of experience operating CNC Mills. Candidates must be able to inspect their work. Our company is looking for skilled machine operators who are reliable and easy to work with, have a positive attitude, and have good communication and organizational skills. This person should be capable of high-precision work, while acting as a team player. Day shift employees work Monday through Thursday 6:00AM to 4:30PM and enjoy 3 day weekends! Skills Required • Should be High School Graduate or GED equivalent. • Must have sufficient experience with Horizontal Machining Centers to operate in a safe and efficient manner. • Preferably candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience. • Must have good communication skills both written and verbal. • Must be able to use standard measuring tools effectively. • Must have adequate math skills. • Must be very detailed oriented with good personal organizational skills. • Must be familiar with tooling, fixturing, indexers etc. • Must be able to complete inspection documentation and determine when parts are out of tolerance. • Should be able to train other operators in the process of manufacturing parts. • Must have good manual dexterity and be able to lift 70lbs. • Should have experience in an ISO 9001 environment, 13485 would be helpful.
