Lost a Sentimental Dog Collar (santa cruz)

I know this is sorta bizarre but tonight (7/23) at the light house field dog beach we brought our border collie, Rocket, to the beach. We got there around 6 and stayed for about an hour. We parked across the street. Somehow from our walk to the beach (or on the beach), we lost his prong collar. It was a metal prong collar with black regular collar material near the closure. This collar was my husbands previous dogs collar that he had to say goodbye to last year. It would mean the world if anyone spotted it or found it! I really want to be able to get it back.
