Civil Litigation Attorney (Remote)

Busy Silicon Valley business litigation practice seeking EXPERIENCED PART TIME OR FULL TIME attorneys with 5+ years active litigation experience. Must be licensed to practice law in California. This position can be in person or REMOTE (depending on candidate's personal situation) so the attorney must be technologically fluent. Required practical skills include: · Ability to respond promptly to communications, emails, and assignments; · Ability to write succinctly and persuasively; · Ability to analyze claims strategically; · Ability to prepare demand letters and to respond to the same; · Ability to prepare complaints and responsive pleadings including answers, demurrers and motions to strike; · Ability to propounded code-compliant written discovery (interrogatories, documents, admissions) and review the same for compliance; · Ability to execute a complete discovery meet and confer process; · Ability to draft and oppose motions including motions to compel, motions for summary judgment; · Advanced ability to strategize and a competitive drive a plus; · Federal court experience is a plus; · Trial experience is a plus.
