West Valley Community Services is currently hiring a Park-It Market Associate who is responsible for supporting all Park-It Market/Mobile Food Pantry operations under the supervision of the Manager of Mobile Operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with Park-It Market operations at multiple off-site locations, including setup, breakdown, restocking, inventory management, cleaning, client engagement, and general administrative support. Safely drive and operate Park-It Market vehicles after completing the required training and meeting agency driving standards. Oversee the loading, unloading, and distribution of food and supplies at mobile market sites. Lead the setup and takedown of equipment, including tables, chairs, computers, tablets, and weighing scales. Ensure mobile units are adequately stocked and prepared to meet demand at each site. Maintain a clean, sanitary environment within and around Park-It Market vehicles, adhering to food safety regulations. Conduct vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns to the Operations Department. Support client intake processes and assist with data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks. Assist with TAP bus pass distribution and ensure proper documentation. Train, supervise, and delegate tasks to volunteers to ensure effective and respectful service delivery. Assist with donation pickups and accurately record weights and inventory details. Qualifications: Experience with driving large vehicles up to 40 ft (additional training will be provided). Valid California driver’s license, clean driving record with no driving restrictions. Having an insured automobile is preferred. Ability to perform strenuous and repetitive physical labor; Ability to safely lift 50 pounds Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and/or with language barriers. Being bilingual is highly desirable. Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in individual and group settings. Ability to embrace WVCS’ mission to provide basic human needs with respect, compassion, and in a dignified environment.
