We are a private owned company based in LA currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our team to design, develop, and implement automated systems and processes. Job responsibilities: · Design, develop, and implement automated systems and processes. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop innovative solutions. · Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues. · Perform mechanical knowledge to design tooling and fixtures for automated systems. · Program and troubleshoot Fanuc robots and other robotic systems. · Implement Lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes. · Configure and maintain distributed control systems (DCS). · Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed engineering drawings. · Program logic controllers (PLCs) to control automated machinery. · Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations.
