Butcher Assistant / Meat Wrapper – Full-Time Location: Denver, CO We are a thriving kosher grocery store in the Denver area, and we're looking to add an upbeat, friendly individual to our team as a Butcher Assistant/Meat Wrapper. Position Overview: In this hands-on role, you will support our busy butcher department by packaging, weighing, and labeling meat products including beef, poultry, and lamb. You’ll operate a heat-seal wrapping machine, rotate and stock the meat display cases and freezers, and help maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Responsibilities: •Package, weigh, and label fresh meat products •Operate heat-seal wrapping equipment •Stock and rotate product in display cases and freezers •Assist with daily cleaning and sanitation of tools and prep areas •Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service •Assist customers with product selections and special requests •Lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly •Work in and out of coolers and freezers •Use a freight elevator when necessary Schedule: •Start time: 7:30 a.m. sharp •Workdays: 5–6 days per week •Saturdays off •Overtime possible Requirements: •Ability to lift/carry heavy items regularly •Dependable and punctual •Friendly and customer-oriented attitude •Able to work in cold environments Experience is preferred but NOT required—we’re happy to train the right person!
