IOR’s Language Training department provides key support to help expatriates and their families learn the new language of their host country. IOR provides Language Training for clients in all 50 US States and in over 40 countries through a network of over 1,000 independent contractor trainers. Job Summary The part-time freelance Language Trainer will provide language training for employees and their families who are relocating for international job assignments. Language Trainers are expected to complete a short online training and adhere to basic IOR guidelines but are free to use their own materials and teaching methods for their lessons. Our current need is for an English Language trainer who lives in Sunnyvale, CA to instruct adults who have recently moved into the Sunnyvale area. We are hiring teachers who are available to provide in-home lessons during workdays, teachers who have availability Monday through Fridays, between 8am and 2pm. The adult students are at a beginner level, they are each authorized for 40 hours of individual English language lessons, and would like lessons two or three days per week with a duration of 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
