Web Job #: 10697 Salary: $45.00-$50.00 Job Date: 8/18/2025 Location: Atherton, California. Schedule: The schedule rotates weekly as follows: Week one: Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Week two: Monday through Thursday, 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and either Saturday or Sunday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Family can guarantee 35-40 hours per week. Children: 3, 4, and 11 year olds; primary care is for 3 and 4 year olds. Duties: The nanny’s main responsibility will be providing developmentally thoughtful and emotionally attuned care to the two younger children. This includes leading age-appropriate play, sensory activities, and early learning opportunities, such as storytelling, counting, language development, and emotional support. The nanny will also organize outings to places like the library, playgrounds, and playdates. Daily responsibilities include school and enrichment pickups, preparing and serving snacks and dinner, and assisting with bath and bedtime routines. Occasional homework help may be needed for the older child. Light household duties related to the children are required, including managing their inventory (diapers, snacks, etc.), cleaning up after meals and play, organizing toys and belongings, packing bags for the next day, preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks, and doing the children’s laundry. Requirements: The ideal Candidate has a minimum of five years of experience caring for children from infancy through preschool age. A background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or preschool teaching is strongly preferred. Candidate must be emotionally grounded, calm, dependable, and proactive in their caregiving approach. Candidate is expected to foster a calm, respectful, and structured home environment using a gentle, clear, and consistent approach. Candidate will work in partnership with the parents and should be comfortable collaborating with other household staff. Candidate must drive; Family can provide a vehicle for use on the job. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain up to date vaccinations, including COVID, MMR, Tdap, and flu vaccinations.
