As a Warehouse Associate, you will pull orders for customers and load orders onto our company delivery trucks. You will perform picking and loading duties using a forklift. Specific duties may include: •Following all applicable safety rules and procedures •Receiving incoming building materials and placing them into inventory •Organizing and maintaining the warehouse for effective and efficient utilization of available storage space while also ensuring that all products can be quickly retrieved for shipment •Pulling ordered material from inventory and staging it for pickups and deliveries •Maintaining all products in a quality and marketable condition •Keeping accurate inventory records •Operating a forklift safely and efficiently and being able to handle heavy and awkward loads •Estimating the weight of forklift loads so that the delivery vehicles are properly loaded and are not overweight •Physically sorting through various products in order to remove defective material •Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned Specific qualifications include: •Ability to be trained and licensed/certified by L&W Supply to operate forklift equipment •Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts •Ability to lift and carry up to 250 lbs with assistance •Previous warehouse experience is preferred •Knowledge in all applicable building material products is preferred Benefits may include: $24 - 27 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. As a Warehouse Associate , you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, staging, picking, and packing in our distribution center. Your role will support the overall flow of operations, ensuring accurate and timely handling of inventory. Responsibilities: Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using a Cherry Picker, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment. Process warehouse deliveries, check in-bound shipments, provide validation on chain of custody and bills of lading forms. Select and pick orders based on corresponding pick tickets and labels. Participate in physical inventories, cycle counting, and data entry. Operate cherry picker, forklift, and other equipment within safety standards. Utilize basic math, reading, and writing to perform required daily tasks. Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc. Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments. Push, pull, reach, bend, and lift 75lbs. Stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time. Perform other duties as assigned.
