Job Title: Assistant Maintenance Person Job Summary: The Apartment Assistant Maintenance Person provides essential support in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of residential apartment communities. This role involves assisting with routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and maintaining property standards to ensure resident satisfaction and a well-maintained living environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of apartments, common areas, and amenities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, providing courteous and efficient service. Conduct inspections of property to identify maintenance needs and perform preventative upkeep. Assist in the setup and teardown of apartments for new tenants, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs. Support in maintaining the property's landscaping, grounds, and exterior features. Ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed during all maintenance activities. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and supplies. Assist with inventory management of tools, equipment, and supplies. Collaborate with the maintenance team and property management to prioritize tasks and complete projects efficiently. Qualifications: Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and climbing. Prior maintenance or handyman experience preferred, but not required.
