$2,500 / 2br - Cape Cod Bay private beach cottage on oldest town on the Cape! (East Sandwich, MA)

We are offering our family cottage for rent for limited weeks this summer. The cottage is on a large private lot at the end of a private gravel road and is the third cottage back from the bay. There are no roads to cross or anything. You are a 20 second walk away from your own private beach in East Sandwich. The cottage has had some recent renovations but still maintains its "old Cape Cod" feel with the original windows and some of the original furnishings. There is a queen size bed in one room and 2 singles in the other. The kitchen is equipped with most everything you need including pots, pans, utensils and small and major appliances. There is a dinette table that seats 4 (sorry, I need to locate a picture of that). The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. There are fans in all the rooms and space heaters should you take a September month and need them. Our rental period runs from late May to early October. Outside is a nice patio with ample seating for eating or lounging as well as a picnic table. There is also an outdoor shower head with hot and cold water for rinsing off and showering. We encourage the use of this as it keeps our cesspool system clear of and unnecessary amount of water. Small fires are allowed on the beach just below the high tide mark. The town of Sandwich is a 10 minute drive away. There you can enjoy our delicious restaurants, shopping, movies, mini golf, museums and historic tours and buildings. Sandwich is the oldest town on the Cape. If you want to drive out to the tip of Cape Cod, you are about 75 minutes away. There are great places to stop all along the way. You will not find a better deal for a private beach cottage at the Cape. Rent is $2500 a week all inclusive of taxes and cleaning, etc. . A deposit of $1250 will hold your week with the balance due two weeks before your arrival. We can offer discounts for spring and fall. We also advertise on vacation websites. Book through craigslist and avoid the extra fees they charge. We have renting our cottage for many years to many happy couples and families.
