Guitar Store Sales Associate (vallejo / benicia)

Position Overview: GuitarFinds is looking for a Guitar Store Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography, be excellent at playing guitar, and possess experience in warehouse organization and product shipping/packaging. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify / Reverb.com / eBay.com is a plus. Having social media strategies/ ideas are also a plus The successful candidate will be adept at creating standardized processes and ensuring efficient operations within the store. Key Responsibilities: - **Photography:** Capture high-quality images of products for online listings and marketing materials. - **Guitar Expertise:** Demonstrate and play guitars for customers and product demos, providing expert advice and recommendations. - **Shopify Management:** Assist with managing the online store, including product listings and order processing. - **Organization:** Maintain a well-organized warehouse, ensuring all products are stored neatly and are easily accessible as well as make suggestions to management regarding possible improvements. - **Shipping & Packaging:** Efficiently package and ship products to customers, ensuring safe and timely delivery. - **Standardization:** Develop and implement standardized processes for various store operations, creating detailed sheets for each task. - **General Upkeep:** Assist with the daily upkeep and organization of the store, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers. - **Assist with special social media projects:** Assist with short term and long term projects as directed by the manager. Requirements: - Strong background in photography. - Excellent guitar playing skills. - Exceptional organizational abilities (MUST). - Experience in warehouse organization and product shipping/packaging. - Ability to create standardized task sheets and processes. - Knowledge of Shopify / eBay / Reverb.com (preferred). - Reliable transportation.
