33 Richardson St, Cheshire, MA 01225, USA
Thank you for considering this position. We are seeking a live in health care aid for our 89 year young dad. His care includes showering, light meal prep, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, companionship. Our dad is mobile but a little unsteady at times. He has mild dementia and occasionally needs direction. He does not need medical attention just a reminder to take his morning and evening meds. He enjoys afternoon car rides and loves being able to stay in his home. We hope to keep him there with a live in person, and another person working two weekends a month, while I his daughter covers the remaining alternate two weekends. We are open to how it looks but would like to minimize the number of caregivers with either one or two folks. This live in position is Monday through Friday with every other Saturday and Sunday off. We have a beautiful home and are happy to provide you with a large 14' X 16' room. We want our Aid to have a balanced life with time to themselves. Compensation includes living quarters with a weekly salary. Please be certified as a PCA or similar skill set. Please have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle because my dad loves, loves, loves to go for car rides while listening to Classic Rock. We realize this process takes time so please be patient with us as we strive to seek a good fit for both you and our dad. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
