Front Desk Associate (west marin)

We are currently seeking an outgoing, professional front desk person to work at our front desk. Our ideal candidate has good knowledge of West Marin and the Point Reyes National Seashore. This resort is located right on Tomales Bay in the small town of Inverness and the Point Reyes National Seashore. Employees enjoy a beautiful, serene work environment with views of Tomales Bay, plus access to our swimming pool, private beaches, and onsite Kayak rentals. Website: Tomales Bay Resort PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The front desk clerk is the first point of contact for our guests. Shifts may include opening/closing, mid-week and weekends. Responsibilities include: • Make hotel reservations using Cloudbeds property management system, provide information about rooms, rates and amenities • Welcome all guests upon check-in and process payments • Check out guests and process receipts • Assist with special requests from guests • Coordinate guestroom maintenance requests with the Hotel Manager and maintenance • Receive and respond to front desk email inquiries • Maintain the cleanliness of the front-desk area, and ensure hotel rooms are ready before guest arrival This can be a part-time position or a full-time position. Best applicants will live within a reasonable commute distance to the resort, such as if you now live in West Marin: Point Reyes, Bolinas, Nicasio, Woodacre, etc., or if you live in Novato or Petaluma.
