Crushcakes Cafe is currently looking for a Wedding & Event Manager. This is an exciting position that will be front facing and focused on customer service while managing wedding and event orders. You will be responsible for the following: •Will work closely with customers to place custom cake, dessert and catering orders. This will be in person and over emails. • Will work closely with bakers and managers at both store locations to ensure the orders can be made, are priced correctly and executed correctly • Are very detail oriented and able to multi-task in a busy work environment • Are able to communicate well with a diverse group of people and have the ability to stay calm under pressure. • Has experience working in a restaurant, cafe, bakery, or coffee shop and are available to work weekdays and weekends and some holidays. • Someone who wants to be a part of Crushcakes exciting growth opportunities! Job Duties: Must have a license, this job is warehouse work with some driving duties. Grading lobsters by size or firmness. Receiving lobster crates and organizing them in our lobster tank and recording records. Processing lobsters by hand. Basic operation of nitrogen tunnel. Safely operating lobster cooking and cooling tanks. Pick and pack retail orders with packing slip. Work in freezer, cooler, or wet areas regularly. Use of fork truck, stacker, and pallet jack. Filling out appropriate work orders, reports, and logs, throughout the day.
