We are growing and adding a 3rd shift! Come join our WHOLESALE PRODUCTION TEAM in Petaluma. RUSTIC BAKERY has been making and serving organic handmade baked goods since 2005. We operate four popular cafes in Marin and have a wholesale commercial bakery producing flatbread crackers, cookies and crisps in Petaluma with products sold nationally by fine retailers throughout the US. BENEFITS -Competitive pay of $18 to $22/hour base pay + $1/hour 3rd shift pay -Health, Dental, and Vision insurance -Paid Time Off -Employee discounts -401(k) Retirement Plan with company matching funds -Annual $60 safety shoe allowance JOB DESCRIPTION: Third shift positions will include Production Bakers, Mixers, Operators, Packers, and Sanitation Workers, Attention to Food Safety protocols, equipment operations, and safety procedures is required for all positions. Overtime and Saturday hours may be required at times based on the business need. All third shift positions earn an extra $1/hour in addition to the base rate listed below. Production Bakers rotate throughout several tasks in a production environment including, sheeting, cutting, and baking product while adhering to food safety and quality procedures. Regularly scheduled hours for this group will be 9:00pm to 5:30am Monday through Friday. Mixers are responsible for efficiently and accurately producing flatbread or cookie doughs. This requires working together with other mixing and manufacturing team members to ensure optimum efficiency and promptly reporting any concerns. Regularly scheduled hours for this group will be 8:00pm to 4:30am Sunday through Thursday. Operators set up and operate all equipment in an assigned area. They ensure that the equipment is running efficiently and to quality standards. They communicate changes and plans to the staff and take direction from their department Lead, Quality Assurance and other management personnel. They also complete the daily logs. Good communication skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of preventive controls and food safety protocols are a must. Regularly scheduled hours for this group will be 9:00pm to 5:30am Monday through Friday. Packers plan and organize the daily packing schedule. Monitors storage of packing materials. Responsible for daily completion of packing department logs, including daily verification signatures. Regularly scheduled hours for this group will be 10:00pm to 6:30am Monday through Friday. Sanitation Workers maintain the cleanliness in assigned areas while adhering to the Master Sanitation Schedule. They are responsible for daily completion of all department logs, including daily verification signatures. Knowledge of all SSOPs. Aware of all Food Safety protocols.
