Looking for a hard working person to assist in assembly of our spa covers. This includes cutting foam on our easy to use CNC machine to correct size and shape, heat sealing plastic around foam, putting foam into spa cover skins, wrapping covers in plastic for shipment, and loading finished product onto delivery truck. It is production work, so time is of the essence. Applicant must be able to lift 70 lb rolls of vinyl, and a clean DMV is preferred, though not required (may need to drive the delivery route on occasion). Must be fast and efficient, a quick learner, and able to follow directions. This is a 40 hr. a week, Monday - Friday job. Starting pay $18/hr. with significant room for increase as skill level increases (up to $25/hr for a fast, accurate worker). Looking for someone with a solid work history. We handle digital print and litigation projects for a variety of vertical markets. We are seeking a reliable and personable Printing Press Technician to join our team. You will help produce small format print materials, often under fast turnaround times. Attention to detail, self direction, and commitment to producing quality print materials will make you the ideal applicant for this role. Responsibilities: ●Read and interpret job tickets - identify & process digital files in the press queues ●Maintain set production timelines ●Load paper stock into the printing press according to specifications ●Produce and check samples for quality and registration before approving entire runs ●Identify print quality issues and report potential problems ●Monitor up to 5 small format presses, addressing jams and toner or stock replenishments promptly ●Assist the Production Manager with press maintenance and troubleshooting as needed ●Maintain a clean and organized shop environment ●Receive supply deliveries and put away paper stock in appropriate areas Requirements: ●Strong attention to detail ●Keen and sensitive attention to color quality ●Ability to work independently and as a part of a team ●Ability to follow instructions and adhere to set protocols ●Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as needed What’s in it for you? Our company is looking to add an experienced Press Brake Operator familiar with large and small production runs on Amada and Cincinnati equipment. Must be able to work alone and in tandem with others Monday-Friday (we work four ten-hour days with OT on Fridays). Must be able to read prints/drawings and have a mastery of basic math as it applies to measurements to the thousandths of an inch (.001). Must be able to lift and do repetitive movements full time, 40+ hours a week. Must take pride in their work and understand the difference between aerospace tolerance and duct work (no dis-respect to the HVAC industry). Must have the capacity to use computer controls and make adjustments as necessary to maintain tolerance as tight as ±0.005in. Must have reliable transportation and maintain regular attendance.
