Description

Position Description: The warehouse worker will perform a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving and processing incoming goods/materials, filling requested orders for shipment, and organizing warehouse inventory. Job Responsibilities • Receive and send out heavy machinery and smaller packages • Clean and help do basic repairs to large equipment and small parts • Maintain warehouse equipment • Crate and uncrate heavy equipment upon delivery and ready for shipping – training provided • Pack and prepare orders for shipment • Monitoring supplies and inventory for replenishment • Load and unload trucks • Operate a forklift (training available) • Travel to/from various out-of-town locations to pick up machinery and equipment over periods spanning longer than a day • Sort and place materials/items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards • Wear proper safety equipment and maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat (sweep, dust, and mop) • Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers • Drive transport vehicles, such as trucks and vans, when necessary to move equipment Requirements • Solid work history that demonstrates reliability with warehouse work experience being a plus • Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts • Good organizational and time management skills • Current forklift license a plus • Holds a valid driver’s license • Good communication skills • Decent English skills • Mechanically inclined • Willing to work overtime and occasionally travel out of town to pick-up equipment • Basic computer skills a plus • Authorized to work in the US
