As a Peer Support Specialist you would be a role model to the peer member's; exhibiting competency in personal recovery with the use of coping skills; serves as a peer advocate and supporter, providing peer members information and peer support in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Support adult peers in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their own recovery process. You will be taught to understand how the support services provided impact a peer’s recovery and contributes to their progression in the self-management of their recovery. Starting pay is $35/hr + $3000 attendance bonus Operators will be on call and must be able report to all shifts at any time of day or night November 1st - April 15. Paid training will take place during October and November. Most shifts will be during overnight hours. During severe storms shifts may be 12+ hours long with only 8 hours off between shifts. Operators must be physically able to safely operate tractor, replace shear pins, and unclog blowers. Operators must be mentally and physically able to drive, operate, and work in adverse weather conditions. No shovel work is required. Tractors do have climate controlled cabs. No experience is necessary but snow or heavy equipment experience is preferred. Operators will receive thorough training on safely operating a tractor with an inverted snow blower.
