The Custom Truck Builder is responsible for building, fabricating, repairing, and maintaining all types of Maintenance of Way (MOW) equipment, specializing in hi-rail trucks, cranes, and other equipment related to the railroad industry. Major Responsibilities: Read basic work orders and interpret/follow schematics, drawings, and instructions Plan ahead for designated work assignments, laying out jobs prior to assembly Build a variety of part and install boxes and specialty components to truck chassis’ Troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components and systems Prepare test builds for final inspection; ensure all vehicle fluid systems are filled for final inspection Inspect and maintain company vehicles and equipment in accordance with policies and procedures Why should YOU join Omaha Track Equipment?! Must be dependable and trustworthy with proven customer service skills. In addition, this person would also be involved with used auto sales, inventory management, and title administration for our sister company.
