This position will be responsible for partnering with the Product team to lead a subset of the WiFi Product Roadmap for the team and business. The role will primarily focus on maturing, developing and deploying a cross-functional Roadmap to drive success of highly strategic and visible projects that will meet evolving customer needs and business opportunities. In collaboration with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Legal, IT, Engineering, and other Product teams, the Project Manager will help define and execute plans to deliver an industry leading customer experience. This position is a 6 – 12 month contract and will be based in Denver, CO and will require being in office four days per week. Qualified candidates must meet the minimum requirements and be fully authorized to work in the United States, without requiring visa sponsorship or C2C status.   Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for project lifecycle tasks and ensure expectations are met between Roadmap approval and program closeout. Responsible for the creation and management of project management artifacts, including Project Plans, logging and use of RAID logs, reporting, and other communication activities. Effectively manage stakeholders and ensure effective communication for working team members as well as executive level stakeholders related to the owned roadmap items. Responsible for cross-functional project risk identification and mitigation including identifying and clarifying known risks, known unknown risks, as well as facilitation of activities to mitigate against unknown unknowns. Ensures integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed. May also coordinate with multiple project managers to assemble overall program plan. Support all efforts to simplify and enhance the team efforts including following of processes and standards, as well as definition and implementation of new best practices. Other tasks and duties as assigned to support WiFi Product objectives. Requirements Desired Skills & Experience Experience managing large, complex, diverse and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole Advanced understanding and ability to manage complex program and project budgets Experience implementing program and project plans and monitor progress, resource usage and quality, as well as mapping critical path and all dependencies Ability to work independently with no supervision and guidance Effectively prioritize and organize tasks Ability to define key performance indicators/metrics and effectively analyze data Ability to document, prepare, and deliver data-driven presentations Exceptional ability to communicate with all levels of employees and management both verbally and in writing Ability to influence internal and external key stakeholders and build consensus Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified Basic understanding of JIRA concepts and practices Skilled in Microsoft Project software a plus Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in IT, business management, or similar required PMP or PMI certification is preferred. Experience in Telecommunications industry is required WiFi domain expertise and understanding of WiFi router features and capabilities a plus Mobile / 5G domain experience a plus Experience as a project, product, or program manager launching a physical product is a plus Compensation For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This role is a 6 - 12 month consulting contract and the hourly range is $60 - $70. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role. Create Project Manual and scopes of work. Approve distribution of plans to all trade contractors. Verify updated plans and specifications are issued to appropriate team members. Accumulate bids and establish bid tabulation for presentation. Perform post-bid interviews and work with trade contractors to meet project scope and budget. Value Engineer project, as required. Establish preliminary Project Schedule. Evaluate Project Superintendent to meet daily project needs for quality control, safety and schedule. Verify weekly that all required reports and uploads are on-time, accurate, complete, and up-to-date in project management software. Manage/Upload all preconstruction documentation. Ensure Hand-off Meeting is scheduled prior to project start and complete provided agenda prior to meeting. Review project buyout, scopes of work, and trade contractor list with Superintendent prior to start of project. Host pre-construction meeting. Create agenda and host on-site Owner meetings.  Review all project invoices with Superintendent, prior to approval. Communicate financial information with Owner, as required. Acquire all necessary trade contractor pricing and back-up for any additional project costs. Maintain Cost Control Log with accurate and up-to-date information.  Present to Owner for approval. Create project change orders (Owner and trade contractor), as required. Oversee and execute project close-out process. Authenticate complete and signed-off punch list. Process final invoicing requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field 10 years or more commercial construction experience preferred Knowledge of the operating practices of construction, architectural, and building firms Ability to read blueprints Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements Must possess skills in workflow analysis and management Ability to handle multiple demands while keeping a positive, results-focused attitude toward clients, subcontractors, and co-workers. Environmental Factors and Working Conditions The work environment for this position is a typical office environment with occasional construction site visits. When in the office, the physical demands require the ability to sit for long periods of time. Intermittent movement, such as accessing centrally located office equipment, lifting of 35 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing, may be necessary to perform the requirements of this position. Site visits may subject the individual to hazards commonly associated with construction. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be worn as required on project sites and in the warehouse.
