Raise is possible at the 90 day review dependent on ability to comprehend and complete our process and techniques. Most employees are up to $17/hr at the 90 day mark. We do have an incentive program that rewards the team for high performance increasing hourly rate by up to $3/hr. Employees may be eligible after 90 days. Requirements A High School Diploma and (2-3) years of general work experience is required. An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Must be able to follow technical written procedures issued by the Federal Government. Must maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and be able to drive and operate a vehicle (car, truck, van). Perform fabrication, assembly, and packaging operations. Principal Responsibilities Fabricate fittings to customer specifications using customized fabricating equipment, hand, power tools, adhesives, and fixtures. Obtain components from stock/production. Set-up equipment to match product requirements. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate good communication skills. Inspect completed parts. Prepare parts for shipping by placing them in boxes or on pallets. Correctly label all parts and boxes as needed. Visually inspect all incoming pipes, components, and gaskets for defects. Apply 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Maintains a safe working environment by following Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and attending training that is provided where required. Maintains a respectful working environment by following Human Resource Policies and attending mandatory training when required. Assist in the coordination, preparation, and execution of year-end inventory. JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the milling CNC operations, ensuring the highest quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the activities of the 2nd shift milling CNC team. Ensure that all milling CNC machines are set up, operated, and maintained according to company standards. Monitor production schedules and ensure that all deadlines are met. Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and go-no-go gauges. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the milling process. Train and mentor team members on proper machine operation and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and quality control. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.   REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES: In-depth knowledge of CNC milling machines and operations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Proficiency in using measuring instruments and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining Experience in programming and setting up CNC mills is preferred. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to CNC milling operations. PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach during the duration of shift, 8-10 hours. Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend. Frequently required to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds. Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as designated in the specific work area assigned. This position requires working night shifts.
