Day Porter/ Janitor

Day Porter cleaning position available on upper King St in Downtown Charleston, SC. This job needs to be done Monday through Friday from 10am to 2pm and pays 4 hours a day at $15 an hour. Responsibilities: - Perform custodial duties in various settings, including offices, schools, and residential buildings - Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors - Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and countertops - Vacuum carpets and mop floors to maintain cleanliness - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed - Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap - Follow cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment Experience: - Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred but not required - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers is a plus - Familiarity with cleaning products and their proper usage is beneficial - Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team We are looking for reliable individuals who take pride in their work and have a strong work ethic. This position requires physical stamina as it involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
