Lead Carpenter / Crew Leader – High-End Remodel Projects (W2 - No Subs) Experienced Remodeling Crew Leader – Kitchens/Baths/Decks – Full-Time W2 Service Doctor Remodeling & Design, established in 1998, is a licensed and insured remodeling company based in Merrillville, IN. We operate with a showroom, full office support staff, and pre-scheduled projects with materials coordinated in advance—no chaos, no chasing down supplies all day. We focus on kitchen, bathroom, basement, and deck renovations in Lake and Porter Counties. We do not sub out work — this is a full-time W2 position with steady year-round projects. We are hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter / Crew Leader to manage and complete residential remodeling projects from layout to final punch. This is NOT a helper or trainee position. We are looking for someone who has run full remodel jobs start to finish and can lead a small crew independently. We are looking for someone who can Run kitchens, baths, basements, and deck remodels Lead and guide assistants to maintain productivity Communicate daily with office staff and homeowners Review plans, stage materials (office support provided), and monitor job costs Layout, demo, frame, set cabinets, install trim and finishes with precision Maintain clean, safe, professional job sites at all times. We need someone who can work Full-time, year-round work with (no layoffs). W2 employment — not 1099 subcontract work. You will have Office support & scheduling — materials staged in advance. Clients come from Showroom & repeat customer base (no cold leads or chasing checks). We help provide you with major tools and equipment, a Company van, and steady work Monday–Friday with occasional overtime opportunities. From $26 – $32/hr based on proven leadership ability in the field as stated. You will be working 40–60 hrs/week depending on workload. Your schedule is from Monday–Friday schedule, jobs start at 7AM and some Saturdays are expected.
