ROKFORM Marketing Manager Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid/Internal/Remote/Flexible) Job Type: Full-Time About ROKFORM Founded in 2010, ROKFORM designs and manufactures premium phone cases and accessories trusted by athletes, first responders, tradesmen, and everyday active lifestyle customers. With patented magnetic mounting technology and innovative designs, we’ve built a loyal customer base and a fast-growing e-commerce business. We are now seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy, oversee campaigns, and drive measurable growth across e-commerce, retail, and Amazon. Role Overview The Marketing Manager will lead the execution of ROKFORM’s marketing strategy, managing campaigns, agency partnerships and the internal team to deliver strong results. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on brand building, storytelling, demand generation, and e-commerce growth. Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage ROKFORM’s omnichannel marketing strategy, balancing brand storytelling with performance-driven campaigns • Lead day-to-day coordination with agency partners and ensure deliverables align with ROKFORM’s goals and deadlines • Oversee e-commerce marketing across Shopify and Amazon, including product launches, promotions, A+ content, and digital advertising • Manage and mentor the marketing team (content, e-commerce, coordinator roles), providing clear direction and accountability • Plan and execute integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels (social media, email, influencer, digital ads, retail promotions) • Oversee the creation of engaging content, including copy, creative, photography, and video • Track and analyze performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize campaigns • Partner with sales and product teams to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals and product launches • Manage marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of spend across channels and campaigns • Represent ROKFORM at trade shows, events, and sponsorship activations when required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field • 5–7 years of marketing experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role • Proven track record in e-commerce and consumer products marketing (Shopify, Amazon, or similar platforms) • Strong understanding of digital marketing (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, Klaviyo/email marketing, analytics) • Experience managing agencies and vendors • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills • Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into strategy • Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit; clear career pathing and accountability within the team • Product Launch Execution: 100% of product launches delivered on time with all marketing assets live (site, Amazon, social, email, ads) • Budget Management: Marketing spend tracked and maintained within approved budgets, with clear ROI reporting • Reporting & Insights: Delivery of monthly performance reports with data-driven recommendations 90-Day Success Plan – Marketing Manager First 30 Days: Learn & Align • Complete onboarding and get up to speed on ROKFORM’s history, products, and customer base • Review existing marketing strategy, past campaigns, and performance data (Shopify, Amazon, email, paid ads, social media) • Meet with leadership team to understand business goals and revenue targets • Establish strong relationships with internal team members (content, e-commerce, customer service, sales) • Connect with agency partners; review their current work and expectations • Audit marketing processes, tools, and assets (Klaviyo, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, ad platforms, etc.) • Identify immediate opportunities for quick wins (low-hanging fruit on campaigns, listings, content gaps) Days 31–60: Execute & Optimize • Begin managing day-to-day campaigns across all channels with support from the team and agency partners • Oversee execution of at least one full product launch from start to finish (site updates, Amazon, social, email, ads) • Implement improvements to Amazon and Shopify listings to enhance conversion (A+ content, optimized copy, images) • Launch at least one new integrated campaign (paid, email, and social) with measurable KPIs • Create standardized campaign reporting templates and review with leadership • Begin testing performance marketing initiatives (audiences, creative variations, subject lines, etc.) • Start refining marketing calendar for the next quarter, ensuring alignment with sales and product timelines • Establish clear weekly priorities and accountability structure with the team Days 61–90: Lead & Drive Growth • Own and manage marketing budget with tracking against ROAS and CPA targets • Deliver first quarterly marketing performance review to leadership, with insights and recommendations • Set and communicate quarterly KPIs for the marketing team (content manager, coordinator, e-commerce support) • Demonstrate measurable progress on revenue growth for Shopify and Amazon • Strengthen influencer/athlete/integrated partnerships with a scalable process for tracking ROI • Identify at least 2–3 new strategic opportunities for brand awareness or customer acquisition (partnerships, campaigns, channels) • Present a 6-month forward-looking marketing roadmap aligned with company growth goals • Establish yourself as the point of accountability for all marketing initiatives At the end of 90 days, the Marketing Manager will have: - Fully taken ownership of the marketing function - Delivered at least one major product launch and campaign - Put structure in place for reporting, accountability, and team development - Demonstrated measurable progress on e-commerce growth and brand visibility - Positioned ROKFORM for stronger performance in the following quarters At ROKFORM, we see this Marketing Manager role as the foundation for long-term growth within the company.
