Location: Dumbo, Brooklyn, NY 11201 Position Type: Seasonal Part-Time (August 2025 – December 31, 2025) Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible scheduling within this window) Company Overview: Funny Face Bakery is a fast-growing, pop culture-inspired cookie company known for our detailed, hand-decorated cookies. We are seeking seasonal part-time baser to lay down the foundation to our beautiful cookies. Position Summary: As a White base you would be lining treys of cookies with frosting to create a border, then later fill with icing to cover the entire surface. You will prepare your own frosting bags and consistencies. Frosting will already be made for you but you will be responsible for cleaning your own area. This is a repetitive task and we are looking for someone with good time management skills and good work focus. Key Responsibilities: ● Use icing bags to accurately line different shapes of cookies. ● Follow direction from the Artist Manager to meet visual and quality standards. ● Maintain consistent pacing to complete the expected volume of cookies each shift. ● Manage your time effectively to meet daily production goals. Qualifications: ● Availability 2–3 days per week (with potential for full-time hours during the holiday season). ● A steady hand with fast pace. ● Ability to work efficiently and maintain consistency under time constraints. ● Must be available to work during the holiday season (November 1 – January 1). ● Previous decorating or artistic experience is a plus, but not required. ● High school diploma or equivalent (required). Interview Process: Applicants invited to interview will be asked to demonstrate basic piping skills using an icing bag. You will be given cookies to fill and practice , which will help assess your current skill level and comfort with the medium. Optional: You are encouraged (but not required) to include examples of your artwork or portfolio with your application. Relevant media can include drawings, paintings, digital art, cake decorating, or other artistic work. We are looking to add one or 2 *dependable* people to our team ASAP. Days, nights and weekends. Hours and responsibilities can vary. Part time for now Our primary needs are for people to work the line on the truck, especially for some lunchtime shifts, along with some occasional prep work.
