ShareBadass Bagels is looking for a friendly, fast-paced customer facing associate, The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, packaging baked goods, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Ideal for someone upbeat, organized, and passionate about sourdough bagels and people! As a Front of House (FOH) Customer Service Associate at our bakery, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You are responsible for providing a warm, welcoming experience, managing sales transactions, answering product questions, and ensuring the front area is clean, stocked, and inviting. Your role is essential in creating a positive and memorable experience that keeps customers coming back. The hours are THU-FRI-SAT-SUN 730am-1230PM (20 hours a week) You will be expected to: Greet all customers with a friendly and professional attitude. Take customer orders accurately, whether in person or over the phone, and handle an Uber tablet. Provide information about bakery items, ingredients, allergens, and specials. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions (cash and card). We use SQUARE. Package baked goods carefully and attractively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, display cases, and seating area. Restock retail items, baked goods, and supplies as needed. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally and promptly. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and cleaning tasks. Coordinate with bakers and kitchen staff to fulfill special orders or custom requests. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
