Our team treats every home as if it were our own. We are seeking an Apprentice Laborer who is ready to learn and grow in the construction trades. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in drywall work who is motivated to expand into carpentry and join our high-quality residential remodel team. As part of the AIP crew, you’ll support full-scale remodels, work alongside experienced craftsmen, and help bring exceptional homes to life. Key Responsibilities: Assist with drywall installation, taping, mudding, sanding, finishing, patching. Prepare job sites: clean and stage areas, organize materials, maintain tools. Support carpenters and lead tradesmen with basic carpentry tasks (framing, trim, blocking, installation) and learn hands-on. Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean, organized, and efficient worksite. Transport materials between job sites as needed (requires clean driving record, see below). Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills, take direction, and contribute positively to the team culture. Uphold the company’s standards of craftsmanship, client respect, and communication. Requirements: Prior experience working with drywall (installation, taping, finishing) or strong interest in this area. Eager to learn carpentry and develop additional construction skills. Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license (driving job-site material runs may be required). Ability to reliably commute (Marin County area) and be on-time for full-time work. Physical ability to perform labor-intensive construction work (lifting, carrying, climbing scaffolding/ladders). Strong work ethic, positive attitude, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team setting. Attention to detail, willingness to follow instructions, and pride in doing quality work.
