In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various boiler systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation across multiple facilities. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair various types of boiler systems Conduct routine inspections to ensure efficient operation Troubleshoot and diagnose boiler malfunctions Perform preventative maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, calibrating) Monitor and control gauges, meters, and instrumentation Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Adjust controls to optimize boiler performance Document maintenance and repair activities accurately Provide emergency repair services as needed Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools Train junior technicians and support team development Assist in energy audits and recommend efficiency improvements Requirements Minimum of 2 years' experience in boiler maintenance and repair Certification in boiler maintenance and repair (state/local certification or accredited training) Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Excellent troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Proficient in using diagnostic and repair tools Good communication skills Willingness to work flexible hours (including emergency calls and overtime) Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with a wide variety of boiler systems (high-pressure, low-pressure, steam, hydronic, etc.) Prior experience conducting energy audits or efficiency upgrades Familiarity with building automation systems and controls Previous experience training junior technicians Strong track record working in high-pressure environments (critical facilities, hospitals, industrial plants) Experience managing inventory and coordinating vendor relationships Strong customer service orientation — ability to interface with clients professionally Benefits Health, dental, vision insurance HSA eligibility 401(k) Vacation, holiday, and sick pay Company stock options Company vehicle and gas card provided
