Defender Security Services Inc. has been around since 1987 servicing our clients with top quality service in the NYC area. Retirees and students are welcomed. We hope to welcome you to our Defender Team! We are looking to hire security guards to work in a residential building, conduct foot patrols throughout the shift, deter and report any activity. We do have lobby positions as well. We have ALL shifts available, to start immediately. (SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE EMPLOYMENT) We do not have any permanent Monday through Friday schedules available. At this time we have entry level positions open in Manhattan If interested and you meet the requirements TO QUALIFY YOU MUST HAVE: 1. NYS NON-DRIVER ID CARD OR DRIVER LICENSE ID CARD 2. 8 HOUR PRE-ASSIGNMENT CERTIFICATE/NYS Security Guard License 3. PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, PERMANENT RESIDENT ALIEN CARD, OR ALIEN WORK AUTHORIZATION 4. SOCIAL SECURITY CARD 5. PUNCTUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM!!! 6. 5 year employment/school history 7. High School Diploma or GED We interview Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm--- We take walk-ins all week. Please come in Person to Apply. NO appointment needed. Walk-in.
