R4: Project Manager / Project Engineer

In this role, you will oversee and manage survey technicians, perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews, and conduct detailed research at the town, county, and state levels. You will also be responsible for evaluating surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints and determine the best approach to complete projects on time and within budget. Additionally, you will be required to perform calculations of quantities and volumes and communicate with crew chiefs and our operations team on a daily basis. Collaboration with drafting managers, design staff, and the operations team will be necessary for providing status updates, discussing challenges, and addressing plan revisions. Requirements A valid Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license in the state of Texas is required, with additional state licensure being a plus. Field and office experience in land surveying is essential, and attention to detail is a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and the ability to take direction and grow with the company. Self-motivation, drive, and the ability to work remotely are important for success in this role. Experience using AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey is required; proficiency with Quickbase to log job statuses is a plus. General Contractor Construction company seeking to fill our Construction Quality Control Manager on-site position for a project located in the City of Carlsbad, CA. Experience in water treatment plant projects and the review of contract documents is required. Must have training and experience in managing and executing quality-assurance and quality control procedures. Responsibilities: • Partner with the project team to understand the contract documents • Work in conjunction with the owner and with the field staff to ensure quality and timeliness of project construction and completion. • Manage inspections process. • Implement and manage the Quality Control Plan. • Oversee submittal review and approval. • Establish testing procedures in accordance with contract specifications. • Manage the punchlist process. • Report to the site Project Manager • Interface with Owner's representative as required and Inspector on a daily basis.
