The Inbound Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all inbound operations within the warehouse, ensuring the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, and putaway of TV products and related components. This role ensures compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while leading a team of associates to maintain high productivity and inventory accuracy.   To learn more about Samsung SDS America, Inc. please visit https://www.samsungsds.com/en/logistics/logistics.html   Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily inbound operations including unloading, receiving, staging, and putaway of TVs. Verify inbound shipments against documentation and SAP system records. Manage dock schedules and trailer movements in coordination with carriers to ensure operational efficiency. Conduct inspections of inbound products to check for damage and ensure accuracy. Lead and develop inbound team members through coaching, training, and regular performance feedback. Enforce warehouse safety policies and ensure team adherence to OSHA and company safety standards. Collaborate with Inventory and Outbound teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or damaged goods. Track and report key inbound performance metrics (KPIs) to leadership on a weekly basis. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to optimize space utilization, time, and labor efficiency. Assist with regular cycle counts and support full physical inventory audits. Monitor actual labor hours against budgeted hours for inbound operations and report variances. Communicate promptly with leadership to resolve operational issues while meeting customer requirements. Analyze current or forecasted trends to identify resource gaps and recommend staffing plans based on operational data. Establish and monitor warehouse security procedures to protect operations and inventory. Maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge through training, publications, and industry networking. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma required 3+ years of relevant experience in warehouse or distribution center operations and 1+ years of experience supervisory role required. KPI management, proven background in creating, executing and reviewing plans for successful operations Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications preferred Proficient in at least three of the following Microsoft Suite applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio Experience and ability to work with Distribution Center, Supply Chain Team, Carriers to resolve any inbound/outbound shipment issues is required Ability to expedite emergency requests Ability to support the building operations to comply with all regulatory obligations, including but not limited to OSHA, and other government regulations Experience leading a team by inspiring the team to achieve above standard goal Ability to work in a variety of climates and conditions; warehouse facilities that are hot in the summer and cold in the winter. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for consultation on Pipe fitting issues with department employees. Cuts, threads, and bends pipe. Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper, and plastic. Connects pipes, using threaded, soldered, and brazed . Secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers. Installs and maintains hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Pressure check system and observes connected pressure gauge to test system for leaks. Welds pipe supports to structural steel members. Observes production machines in assigned area of manufacturing facility to detect machinery malfunctions.
