Husky Mix Needing a home (Oakland)

Salem is more than just a dog—she's a joyful, playful, and affectionate companion ready to find her forever family. After spending a year in a loving foster home, she's shown how wonderfully she fits in. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids over the age of five, making her an ideal addition to a lively household. This sweet girl is an active and smart pup who knows her basic commands like sit and wait. She's eager to please and loves to play. She especially loves running and would thrive with an active family with a yard for play. Salem has environmental allergies that are managed with medication or when out of the Central Valley region. While she's a fantastic dog, she's still a work in progress on the leash. She pulls sometimes, and is excited around other dogs when out in the world.
